Senior Bookkeeper (AU Management Accounting Experience)
We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper with Australian accounting experience to support the financial operations of our business and related entities. This role will be responsible for core bookkeeping and compliance activities while also supporting management reporting, inventory-related financial analysis, and business performance insights.
The successful candidate will work across our primary business operations, directors’ personal bookkeeping requirements, and an active Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF). Work Arrangement: Onsite Office Location: Filinvest Corporate, Alabang, Muntinlupa Location Requirement: Applicants must reside in Muntinlupa City or Las Pinas City

Primary Responsibilities
Business operations
- Manage payroll processing and related bookkeeping activities
- Prepare BAS-related information and maintain compliance records
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) reports in Xero
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping data
management reporting and business analysis
- Prepare management reports to support business decision-making
- Track and document Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Conduct margin analysis and identify trends
- Proactively identify potential cost reduction opportunities
INVENTORY AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
- Prepare management reports to support business decision-making

Secondary Responsibilities
Director's personal bookkeeping
- Maintain bookkeeping records for the directors’ personal accounts
- Support tax-efficient structuring discussions by providing information to the company’s Australian accountants

- Record and maintain SMSF transactions
- Keep financial records current and organised for review by Australian accountants
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience using Xero
- Experience with Australian payroll processing, including STP requirements
- Experience preparing BAS-related bookkeeping records
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude to improve efficiency across reporting and analysis
- Experience working across both Shopify and Xero, including integrations between the two
- Experience working with or supporting Australian businesses
- Ability to prepare management reports and analyse financial performance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
